On the way back from the dinner, I realized I'd left a tape recorder on the table. I told Andre, who declared that we must turn the bus around and head back for the restaurant!  Embarrassed, I protested that I didn't want everyone to know that my forgetfulness was the cause of a delay. He kindly announced to the bus that the detour was to pick up his CELL PHONE... and displayed it prominently when we returned to the bus, tape recorder recovered. What a sweetie!
