Every Pennsic has wet, dry, hot and cold. Except this Pennsic. We only
had dry and pleasant weather. Two weeks of remarkable perfect weather.
Here, "Mary's Boyfriend" tends the fire through the one short rain.
We had twins in camp! Joe Joe and Nick, six month old sons of Lucrezia and
Tim. I can't believe I only got a few pictures. They were sooo cute! Tim
showed me the twins telepathically communicating, in their crib. Adorable!
"Bring lots of clothes. And you have to get along with my household."
We pack 36 cubic feet of bed and pavilion in our three truck "units." A unit is 12 square feet, for reasons that once made sense to the Pennsic-bound West Kingdom. The hammer dulcimer goes on top. "Your household?"

The Squires: Maddox, Vortimeer, Thorbjorn. Maddox is Royal Brewer
and Sir Woolfbrandr's Senior Squire. Clan Lurkr appreciates Maddox'
artistry with fermentation. Varietal Beers, Maddox Mistake Mead,
Blackberry Wine. Yum! Vortimeer, Wookie's Junior Squire, runs everywhere.
He fills the torches, but is otherwise forbidden to use accelerants.
Thorbjorn is Wookie's Baby Squire. Wookie's rookie?
Lady Griel helped me with my embroidery.
Lady Aurora gave me saline nasal spray, and taught me to offer hospitality
politely. "Lord, Welcome to Clan Lurkr. I see you have a mug. May I
offer you a Beverage? We have (...)"
One morning, we woke up and our handicapped port-a-castle was gone.
Mistress Adrianne was due that very day! Gregory went off to seek redress.
Within minutes, our handicapped port-a-sauna was back. Turns out, they
mistakenly took ours, thinking it was on the neighboring corner. Here,
Gregory poses triumphantly.

My boyfriend has a really nice pavilion.
Everyone is photogenic in front of his tent.
Every morning, Helena breakfast. Bacon and
pancakes, fresh fruit and sausage, hot coffee. Tim woke up every morning
early with the twins, and made coffee. Helena made lemonade all day, as
well as runs to Walmart. We offered "hospitality" to the
outside world, in the way of beer, soda, lemonade, and water.
